We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, billing address, emergency contact information, account login information, communication preferences, reservation and service history, and messages, forms, waivers, or other information you submit to us.

Pet and Care Information

Because we provide dog daycare, boarding, wash, retail, and related services, we may collect information about your dog, including your dog's name, breed, age, sex, and spay/neuter status; vaccination records; veterinarian information; temperament assessment information; behavior, playgroup, and socialization notes; feeding instructions; medication instructions; allergy information; health or care notes you provide; reservation, attendance, boarding, wash, retail, and service history; and incident, safety, or care-related notes when applicable. We use this information to safely provide services, maintain accurate records, communicate with you, and support the care and comfort of each member.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. We do not intentionally store full credit or debit card numbers on our own systems. Payment processors may collect and process payment details, billing information, transaction history, and related information according to their own privacy and security practices.

Photos, Videos, and Social Media

We may take photos or videos of dogs while they are at Pupz Club for operational purposes, customer communication, social media, website content, marketing, advertising, events, and promotional materials. We try to focus on dogs, but photos or videos may occasionally include people, staff, or limited identifying details. If you have concerns about photo or video use, please contact us at info@pupzclub.com.

Website, Device, and Usage Information

When you visit our website or use our online services, we may automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring website, date and time of visit, website usage activity, general location information based on IP address, and error logs or performance data. This information helps us operate, protect, improve, and understand how visitors use our website and online services.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember preferences, understand website traffic, improve user experience, and measure the effectiveness of marketing or promotional campaigns. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse or disable cookies. Some website features may not work properly without cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect to create and manage member accounts; process daycare, boarding, wash, retail, and event reservations; provide safe and appropriate dog care; maintain vaccination, temperament, feeding, medication, and service records; communicate with you about your dog, reservations, account, payments, waivers, updates, or services; send reminders, confirmations, and service-related messages; process payments and transactions; provide customer support; improve our website, services, portal, operations, and customer experience; send marketing or promotional communications, where permitted; share updates, photos, videos, or promotional content; prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents; enforce our policies, agreements, and terms; comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or regulatory obligations; and protect the safety of dogs, staff, customers, and our business. We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. SMS and Text Message Communications

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Pupz Club related to your dog's care and your account, including reservation confirmations, reminders, service updates, vaccination or waiver reminders, billing notices, and other service-related communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message or by contacting us at info@pupzclub.com. You may reply HELP for help. Opting out of promotional messages may not prevent us from sending important service-related or legally required communications where permitted by law.

4. Marketing Communications

We may send marketing emails, promotional messages, event announcements, newsletters, or special offers if you have provided your contact information or otherwise engaged with Pupz Club. You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at info@pupzclub.com. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send service-related messages about your account, reservations, payments, your dog's care, waivers, vaccination records, safety matters, or other non-marketing communications.

5. When We Share Information

We may share information only when needed to operate our business, provide our services, protect safety, comply with law, or support the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We may share information with payment processors; website hosting providers; database, cloud, and software providers; member portal or account management providers; email and SMS communication providers; analytics and website performance tools; scheduling, reservation, or customer management tools; marketing and social media tools, where applicable; professional advisors, including accountants, attorneys, consultants, and insurance providers; veterinarians, emergency contacts, or emergency service providers when needed for safety or care; government, legal, or regulatory authorities when required by law; and a buyer, successor, or other party in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or transfer of all or part of our business. We do not allow service providers to use your information for their own independent marketing purposes unless you have separately consented to that use.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information and pet care information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain member records, comply with legal, accounting, tax, insurance, and operational requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the safety of dogs, staff, customers, and our business. For example, we may retain account records, reservation history, payment records, vaccination records, waivers, temperament assessment notes, incident records, and care-related information for legitimate business, legal, insurance, or safety reasons. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely store it until deletion is possible.

Our services are intended for adults and pet owners, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@pupzclub.com, and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information if required.

10. Account Information

You may review or update certain account information by logging into your member portal, where available. You may also contact us at info@pupzclub.com to request that we review, update, or delete certain information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and our legitimate business needs. If you request account deletion, we may retain certain information as needed to comply with legal obligations, maintain business records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the safety of dogs, staff, customers, and our business.

11. Do-Not-Track Signals

Some browsers offer 'Do Not Track' signals. Because there is currently no uniform standard for how businesses should respond to these signals, we do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals. If a legal standard is adopted in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy as needed.

12. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional privacy rights under California law. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the 'Shine the Light' law, permits California residents to request information about categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, if applicable.
